AT STREET 24
Because i find it intolerable, i walked out. Not knowing where or what to go to, the destination in mind was just to-find-peace.
I finally found it at a parkbench where there was almost nobody. Under the dim lights reflected from the hdb flats' corridors, i sat crosslegged, with my mag in tow, closed.
I whipped out my phone, willing negativity away, but to no avail. I tried feigning ignorance, it didnt work. After what seemed like a million other alternatives, i finally looked back, not knowing what exactly was i hoping to find.
Wrong move, kat.
Cos now i know with all my heart, that work superceded me. F you.
